LeBron James, who is no longer considered one of the top players in the NBA, has been performing exceptionally well in his 20th professional season.
Despite the Los Angeles Lakers not likely making the playoffs, James has been referred to as a “beast” which has led to rumors that a sample of the Zoom LeBron 2, nicknamed “Beast”, from 2014 will be released in fall 2023.
The unreleased pair, which was created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the second Nike LeBron shoe, features leopard and zebra patterns on the upper, giving it a wild personality.
Originally created during a time when the league had stricter regulations, it was intended for off-court wear. However, P.J. Tucker wore the “Beast” Nike LeBron against the Lakers in October 2018.
Despite animal print and faux fur designs not selling well for NIKE in recent years, it makes sense for the company to release some of the most beloved and exclusive styles from the LeBron series as James approaches retirement.
