To promote the upcoming premiere of Power Slap, UFC President Dana White has outlined the rules of the world’s premier slap fighting organization. Power Slap, which is licensed and sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, is led by White and will air exclusively on TBS.
The competition will feature fighters from around the world competing in three-round maximum slap fights, with a coin toss determining who goes first. Each round will consist of open-handed strikes to the face, with 30 seconds allotted for preparation and recovery.
Fighters must stand with their feet parallel, and defenders must stand with shoulders squared, chin up, and hands behind their back. Strikers must keep their feet on the floor and tell the referee which hand and how many warm-ups they will use.
